Whacky, modern trivia: CDSK

We all have memories of family game night, trying to answer trivia questions far before our time. It was the opposite of fun. Why would you want to spend time feeling uncultured AND unamused? It's no wonder that trivia gets a bad rap.

 

CDSK, the newest trivia game by Randolph, tries to impart a healthy dose of fun with its questions that swing between surprising and silly (but always modern) and an engaging racetrack. Play in teams or go head-to-head with up to 16 players!

CDSK is a trivia game that asks you to be honest with yourselves. Judge how well you know topics within categories ranging from Curious (bizarre subjects), Delightful (hobbies), Seasoned (school of life), and Knowledge (academic), with topics that have been designed for and playtested by current American board gamers.

Draw a card matching the space you’re on. Judge how well you know the topic on a scale of 1 to 10. Then move your piece as far forward as the difficulty you set… if you get the answer right!

Landing on Challenge spaces may give you a leg-up in the race, if you give multiple correct answers during these mini speed rounds. And of course, getting to the end of the track isn't all it takes to win. You'll have to prove your trivia might by answering one final question correctly!
